Nara Liessi

I hold a Master's Degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. During my Ph.D. I synthesized and characterized by liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry several molecules to be tested in vitro as correctors and/or potentiators of CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator). After my doctorate, I continued to deepen my knowledge about the synthesis and characterization of biomolecules at the Centre of Excellence for Biomedical Research (CEBR) at the University of Genova. I have been working in the Analytical Chemistry Lab of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia since October 2019, where I have been acquiring new skills in the field of bioanalytical chemistry and mass spectrometry, in particular in proteomics, lipidomics and metabolomics. During this period I published 3 papers as first author.
